the wedding countdown has begun...

In 2007, during the High Holidays, Wendy Kopka, a friend of Brandon's Aunt Terri and also a good friend of Betsy's dad from childhood, asked Brandon if he wanted to be set up with "a blond, blue eyed Jewish girl". He accepted the offer. After talking on the phone for countless hours over the next few weeks, Betsy left the Thanksgiving celebration at her parent's home in WI to go on a blind date with Brandon. Needless to say, they hit it off on their first date, talking until the restaurant closed. From the beginning they knew they had something special, and, about a year and half later Brandon proposed to Betsy in Kohler, WI which happens to be their favorite place to spend time together. Of course, between her tears of joy, Betsy said "YES" and the wedding countdown has begun!
